After serving on the RHMA Board for twenty years, God opened the door in 2024 for me to join the home office as part of the Mission Ministry Team. My official role is Minister to Field Staff. Given RHMA’s mission to strengthen and plant churches in small-town America, we clearly see how God has prepared us for this calling.

Prior to serving on the Board, we pastored for over twenty years in a rural ministry in Dallas City, IL. During that time, we became acquainted with RHMA and its founder, C.J. Rediger, who lived in an assisted living facility nearby. He was often in our home and even served on my ordination council.

Later, while I was on staff at East White Oak Bible Church in Carlock, IL, God providentially led us to plant a church in the “inner city” of Bloomington in 2018, along with a small group of believers. Today, I serve bi-vocationally with RHMA and Living Stone Communities.

My wife and I minister as a team—we love serving pastoral couples and their families. Our heart is to bless rural churches, their pastors, and their communities. We take extended trips to the field to coach, counsel, encourage, and serve. These visits open the door for ongoing connection through texts, emails, phone calls, and Zoom.
